- Medical Imaging offers state-of-the-art breast MRI's. Medical Imaging is the only free-standing (i.e., non-hospital) radiology provider in Kansas City to offer this state-of-the-art exam.

- We have two facilities to serve you better. One is in the North Oak Medical Plaza (N.Oak and Route 152), another is at Eastland Center (291 and 40 Hwy). These facilities represent the very latest in patient care; they are the most state-of-the-art radiological facilities in the entire Kansas City area. The list of features there includes:
- At our Independence location, we have floor-to-ceiling one-way windows in BOTH the
High-Field and Open MRI rooms, as well as in our CT Scan Room. At our new North Oak location,
the windows will be almost as
huge. If you’ve ever felt uncomfortable in smaller areas yet you need one of these procedures,
Medical Imaging is the ONLY radiological facility in town that has the openness of the great outdoors
to calm
your discomfort.
- Both sites have private dressing rooms that secure your belongings while the procedure is being
done. They are the largest and most comfortable in the area.
- Music throughout. We are able to
pipe in 200 different channels of streaming audio off the Internet representing different music
styles to your MRI exam room, or you can bring in a CD to
play.
- We also stock the largest music collection of any radiological facility in Kansas City.
We’ve had
MRI’s and CT scans too, and we know music helps pass the time! You will get a checklist
of CD’s
you can look over before your exam and choose the music or CD you wish to listen to.
- Our Shawnee location now offers Open MRI, ultrasound and DEXA (for osteoporosis screening). Your requests have been answered! We are always working to better meet the needs of our patients.
